We established our business in Newcastle in 2015, and our philosophy at JSSS Electrical is always to provide excellent service. In 2017 we were finalists in the Hunter Local Business Awards for Outstanding New Business. We bring our integrity to our work, from the person who books your job, to the team member developing a concept, to the electrician on site. We understand that what you need from your electrician is reliability, accountability and a commitment to safety to ensure that your job, no matter how big or small, is carried out successfully.

With that in mind, we’re lucky to have a great team who pride themselves on their work and represent Team JSSS to our customers.

Jesse Smith – Director and Principal Contractor
In just over 11 years Jesse has realised his dream of owning his own electrical business. His passion for the electrical industry and the fact that he is a genuinely professional business person is the perfect combination. His place as a finalist in the Outstanding Business Person of the Year, Hunter Local Business Award is a testament to that. About his philosophy, Jesse says “It’s pretty simple, I just want to make my client’s electrical installation run as smoothly as possible, and our systems, expertise and attitude contribute to that”.

Shelly Smith – Director and Operations Manager
Making sure everything runs to the smooth plan she and Jesse work towards, meet Shelly. As the joint Director and Operations Manager, Shelly project manages your job, from scheduling, purchasing the materials for installation and invoicing. What’s her favourite part of her role? “I enjoy communicating with our clients to make sure they know who to expect on site and when. An informed client is a happy one”.

Jake Block – Electrical Tradesman
As the recipient of the Outstanding Youth Award at the 2017 Local Business Awards, it comes as no surprise that Jake is a valued and outstanding member of the JSSS team. When Jake joined the team in early 2016, he brought to the team valuable experience in the industrial and commercial electrical sector. Over the past few years, he’s expanded his skills working closely with us in the domestic sector. Our customers appreciate his cheerful, relaxed and friendly personality as well as his excellence and attention to detail and Jake represents JSSS Electrical with pride.

Tyler McLennan – 1st Year Electrical Apprentice
Tyler joined the team in January 2017 and he’s a man on a mission. In four years he sees himself finishing his trade, continuing to grow with JSSS Electrical, and moving into a more senior role. We’re happy with that! Tyler’s chilled out, friendly and approachable personality is a great asset to our team.
